Taste-makers of all facets arrived to support the Atlanta Japan Relief Effort, launched by celebrity stylist Marcus John and International Songwriter Michico on Monday night. Guests enjoyedan unforgettable evening of fashion and entertainment at Buckhead Bottle Bar, including special performances by Anoop Desai and Promise. Other special attendees included Don Cannon, Chaka Zulu (DTP), Super Producer Miykal Snoddy (Diddy/Lupe), Grammy Award winning songwriter Cassius and Peniece LeGall (Sesac).
Though we are no longer bombarded with images of the immense devastation caused by tsunamis in Japan, Marcus John realized that thousands of Japanese citizens are continuing to fight the daily battle for survival. International artists, musicians, entertainers, and professionals all came together in support of those still struggling to find food and shelter. All proceeds will go to the Japan Red Cross Society.
