Wife, mother, actress, activist and fitness enthusiast Nicole Ari Parker announces the launch of her new product Save Your Do™ GymWrap during the World Famous Bronner Bros. International Hair Show on Saturday, February 18th in Atlanta, Georgia. Husband and business partner, Boris Kodjoe, hosted a private kick-off reception the night before at Dolvett Quince’s Body Sculptor where Parker unveiled the revolutionary designs of Save Your Do™ GymWrap. Models demonstrated the before & after results of the Save Your Do™ GymWrap by participating in physical activities while sporting the stylish accessory.
Save Your Do™ GymWrap is a stylish headband developed with a patent-pending revolutionary Edge Control Technology that minimizes the sweat absorption into one’s hair through a unique blend of materials that allows heat to escape while letting cool air in. The moisture ‘wicking’ process occurs at the molecular level within the fabric resulting in dry flat hair that only needs light styling afterwards!
The idea for Save Your Do™ GymWrap began in early 2011 when Parker developed a prototype at her kitchen table having noticed a common excuse emerge (herself included) from the busy everyday woman looking to workout. “Hair is an issue for most women and after washing, blow-drying, flat-ironing, curling, braiding, twisting and spending the time and money on it, who wants to mess it up by sweating and having to do it all over again?” explains Parker.
Parker could not have predicted what happened next… that summer, the Surgeon General issued a statement saying ‘…Women have got to stop using their hair as an excuse not to exercise.’ The statement continued with the growing statistics and right then and there, Parker accepted the mission. “Wow, there it was, plain as day, our health issues had reached a state of emergency all because of one little detail, our hair. This nationwide call to action really inspired me to finish working on The Gymwrap with my design team, and now it's ready,” adds Parker.

Sophie’s Voice Foundation (SVF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to elevate the quality of life for children and adults diagnosed with spina bifida and to raise awareness of its prevention. SVF is working to establish a national Center for Spina Bifida Research, Prevention and Policy in Atlanta, which will be a partnership with leading academic and healthcare organizations.
