Interview with Yoga Master Anthony Williams

Arkeedah: What are the benefits of Yoga? 

Anthony
: The question should be "what doesn't  yoga do?": Yoga means to bring balance to the Body, Mind and Spirit.
The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility. Many health benefits include learning controlled breathing, stress, Diabetes and More

Arkeedah:  Do you have a favorite form of Yoga or Position?

Arkeedah: What inspired you to start practicing yoga?

Anthony: While attending college, I noticed that I was Angry and I was becoming the "Angry Black Man" stressing and everything. I had to change so I went to Africa and I actually started my journey in Kenya. That began my extensive journey and love for Yoga.


Anthony also stated how being in silence, with the proper breathing techniques you can center and calm yourself.  You will see how silence plays a major roll in Eddie Murphy's new Movie " A Thousand Words"
