So you finally start to "dream big" but when
attempting to pursue it-absolutely NOTHING you do is working. You attempt so
many marketing campaigns, designs, events and/or relationships but the only
thing you hear are *crickets*. We are simply ineffective and find ourselves
going crazy! You begin second-guessing yourself, your vision and even
God.
Big dreams require so much more than church every
Sunday and a 5-minute prayer every morning. The level of our assignments reflect
the level of our spirits. Struggle occurs when we attempt to operate in purpose
and fulfill our assignments on a lower [spiritual] level than
required. Mark 9:14 shares the story
about the disciples attempting to cast out a demon without the necessary power.
As a result, there was plenty chaos and confusion until Jesus showed up. After
Jesus successfully delivered the demon-possessed boy the disciples asked
him "Why couldn't we drive it out?" and Jesus replied "This kind can come
out only through prayer and fasting" Mark 9: 29.
In today's society people need to feel love and
inspiration more than ever. People are losing hope, committing suicide and
becoming professional criminals just to feed their families. Regardless of your
gift- your purpose is to HEAL people with love and inspiration [Rd Isaiah 61].
In order for us to fulfill this purpose- we must be completely filled with the
power of God. Due to so many personal issues, your followers, supporters,
clients, partners, customers, employees, sponsors are in dire need of healing,
love, hope and freedom. There is an urgent search to FEEL healing, love, hope
and freedom at your place of business, on your website or through your book.
People simply want to feel Love and God is Love [1 John 4:8].
Today's society is getting worse and we are currently
experiencing Matthew 24, so therefore our purpose requires more
power. We cannot fulfill today's purpose
on yesterdays spiritual regimen. In order
for God to increase our territory and elevate our platform- our spiritual-man
must elevate. This only occurs when we starve our flesh and feed our spirit. Our
flesh is filled with so many issues from the past- we don't even have the
capability to carry the power that God wants to fill us with [Rd Mark 2:22]. For
this reason, we must FAST & PRAY in order to elevate spiritually and handle
our God-sent assignments.
Being ineffective also causes a lack of respect from
those witnessing our journey. When we say one thing, but people are witnessing
the exact opposite- we lose credibility. In Mark 9:14, the people argued with
the disciples because of the lack of respect. It says, "When they came to
the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the
law arguing with them. As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were
overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet Him." The people respected
Jesus and He didn't even have to speak. God gives us the opportunity to
be filled with Holy Spirit so the people we encounter don't see us but rather
the God within us. That's how we receive real honor and respect.
