Dr. Rachael Ross, Demetria L. Lucas, Jacque Reid, Eva Marcille, and Naturi Naughton Participate in OraQuick’s 'Life. As We Know It' Panel at Spelman College

Spelman College, in conjunction with the Reed for Hope Foundation and OraQuick, presented a relationship panel on October 22, 2013 to explore dating, relationships and sexual health. The goal of the panel,  is part of OraQuick’s “Life. As We Know It.” campaign and Reed for Hope Foundation’s LoveHealthy initiative, is to provide insight through real dialogue to encourage healthy relationships and promote responsibility as it relates to sexual health.

The “Life. As We Know It.” campaign was designed to encourage students and attendees to get tested and be aware of their status for conditions like sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV, breast cancer, and blood pressure, which disproportionately affect the African-American community, especially women.

With the OraQuick In-Home HIV Test, you can take the first step toward learning your HIV status. Find out in just 20 minutes in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I really enjoyed this panel and I'm glad these phenomenal women are taking the time to speak to our youth about this important issue.

Before the panel I was able to get a statement from Eva Marcille: Reed For Hope Ambassador check out the audio below:

Demetria L. Lucas, author, life coach and relationship expert

Naturi Naughton, Reed For Hope Ambassador, actress and singer-songwriter

Jacque Reid, national television/radio personality and veteran journalist

Dr. Rachael Ross: physician, sex expert, and co-host of television show "The Doctors"
