On Thursday March 27, 2014, I was personally invited to preview International Designer Billie Hilliard's New Spring Collection. I loved everything about this gathering, it was very intimate I was able to speak with Billie one-on-one about her collection. Billie explained to me that her pieces are birthed from vintage heirlooms as well as her own original wax carvings. She uses the Ancient "Lost Wax Method" and casting to transform her creative brass, gold and silver visions into wearable forms of artistic expression.
All of her pieces are one of a kind. At the event I fell in love with her Cuff Designs because in the past I could never wear wrist jewelry unless it had elastic in it because my wrists are so small, but her cuffs fit like a glove and were so comfy. Oh and I must mention this gathering had some of the most delicious food EVER that was provided by Mrs Dovebelly.
