Celebrity Manicurist Gina Edwards for KISS Products, Inc. led the nail team and created the look for Daniel Silverstain Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week.
The collection focuses on the hub of cultures with futuristic essence inspired by the most successful world's fair of the 20th century - Expo67. The color pallet is built on neutral hues with contrast shapes and primary colors, representing national flags.
For a playful, super-wearable look that is dimensional and defined, Edwards used silver foil tape from KISS Salon Secrets Nail Art Starter Kit to create the metallic, mirrored effect.
• Using KISS 100 Full Cover Nails in Short Square as a base, paint a coat of KISS Gel Strong Polish in one
of the primary colors then let dry
• Using silver foil tape from KISS Salon Secrets Nail Art Starter Kit, layer vertically down the nail, leaving
one brush stroke of color exposed on the side of the nail that faces outward, towards the pinky
• Cut off the excess foil tape and seal with top coat polish
• Apply tips to nails, using either nail glue or adhesive tabs
