Winter is
officially here which means it’s time to book that tropical getaway. When
traveling, you’re literally “up in the clouds” so it is important
to stay hydrated.  Stale, re-circulated air on planes can leave skin feeling
dry and parched. Frequent flyers often carry little spritz bottles of water to
keep skin moisturized, but what about your lips? They are often forgotten, yet
lips are just as prone to becoming dry and chapped as the rest of your skin.
How can you help
take care of every inch of you while you’re up in the air?
·
Drink plenty of
water. Spritz your face with a spray bottle filled with cool water, but remember
to follow up with a facial moisturizer to help lock in the moisture. The longer
the flight, the more often you will need to do this.
·
Tuck TSA-friendly,
Carmex® Lip Balm, available in tubes, jars, or convenient
click sticks, into your purse or carry-on bag. Apply to your lips to help keep
them feeling soft and smooth. If you eat or drink, reapply Carmex®
Lip Balm afterwards to help keep lips in tip top shape.
·
Walk around the
plane when possible to keep your circulation moving. Airlines often offer tips
for legs exercises that you can do in your seat.
Carmex®
Lip Balm is available in a variety of flavors and can be purchased for $1.59
at retailers nationwide. For more information or helpful lip care tips, please
