High Museum of Arts Presents The Rise of Sneaker Culture Exhibition

A "Sneaker head" is a person who collects trades and/or admires sneakers as a form of art and individual expression.

As an avid sneaker head I'm very passionate about my shoes -- The eyes might be the window to the soul, but shoes are the door to just about everything else. You can tell a lot about a person based on the shoes they're wearing. It's like a walking billboard showing the world exactly who you are! So you can imagine my excitement when the High Museum of Art announced the The Rise of Sneaker Culture Exhibition is coming to Atlanta.

Join me on Friday June 10th from 7p-10p and witness the Tiovivo: Whimsical Sculptures by Jaime Hayon, the third installment on the Sifly Piazza; The Rise of Sneaker Culture; and Walker Evans: Depth of Field this summer kick-off event will feature music by DJ Teknology, and breakdancing by Burn Unit, Rockwell Kids, and Kid Dynamo and the Dynamo Lockers.

This event is $10 admission and free for Members
