Inside Look: The Rise of Sneaker Culture Exhibition at The High Museum of Art

On Friday June 10th, I had the pleasure of attending The Rise of Sneaker Culture Exhibition at The High Museum of Art it showcased over 155 sneakers and follows the evolution of the sneaker from its beginning. The exhibit displayed collections of unique and artful sneakers from famous brands like Reebok, Puma, Nike, Converse and Adidas. Sneaker heads were also able to view the brands most popular collaborations with Damien Hirst and Kanye West. The kickoff event also featured music by DJ Teknology, and breakdancing by Burn Unit, Rockwell Kids, and Kid Dynamo and the Dynamo Lockers.

It's heaven for any sneaker enthusiast and I highly encourage you to check it out. The Rise of Sneaker Culture Exhibition at The High Museum of Art runs through August 14. More information about the exhibit can be found here.
