Fall Wardrobe Essentials: Stylish Staples for the Season

As the leaves change colors and the cool breeze fills the air, it's time to revamp our wardrobes for the fall season. Embrace the latest fashion trends while staying cozy and comfortable with these stylish staples. In this blog post, we'll explore the must-have items for your fall wardrobe.

1. Classic Denim Jacket:

A timeless piece that never goes out of style, a classic denim jacket is a versatile addition to your fall wardrobe. It can be effortlessly layered over a sweater or paired with a t-shirt and jeans. Look for a well-fitted jacket with a medium wash for a casual and chic look.

2. Cozy Sweaters:

As the temperatures drop, cozy sweaters become a must-have item. Opt for chunky knit sweaters in warm hues like burgundy, mustard, or forest green. These pieces not only keep you warm but also add texture and depth to your outfit. Consider adidas' range of cozy hoodies that combine comfort with a touch of sporty style.

3. Ankle Boots:

Ankle boots are a fall staple that instantly elevates any outfit. Whether you prefer flat boots for all-day comfort or heeled boots for a touch of sophistication, they are perfect for pairing with jeans, skirts, or dresses. Look for versatile colors like black or brown to maximize their wearability.

4. Versatile Scarves:

Scarves are not only a practical accessory for keeping warm but also a stylish addition to your fall outfits. Neutral tones or plaid patterns are excellent choices as they can be paired with various outfits. adidas offers a range of sporty-chic scarves that add a fashionable touch to your ensemble.

5. High-Quality Leggings:

Comfortable and versatile, high-quality leggings are a fall wardrobe essential. Look for leggings that offer a flattering fit and are made from thick, durable materials. Pair them with oversized sweaters or longline tops for a cozy yet stylish look. adidas offers leggings that combine comfort, style, and performance, making them perfect for both casual outings and workouts.

6. Sporty Sneakers:

No fall wardrobe is complete without a pair of stylish sneakers, and adidas is renowned for its iconic designs. Opt for a pair of classic white sneakers or experiment with bold colors and patterns to add a pop of personality to your outfits. adidas sneakers are not only fashionable but also provide the comfort and support needed for all-day wear.

Bonus Tip: Consider selecting a fedora hat in a color that complements your existing fall wardrobe. Neutral tones like brown, gray, or black are versatile options. Pair it with outfits like a cozy sweater, jeans, and ankle boots for a chic and effortless look. Remember to find a hat that fits well and suits your personal style.

As you transition your wardrobe for the fall season, incorporating these stylish staples will ensure you're prepared for any occasion. From classic denim jackets to cozy sweaters and versatile scarves, these essentials will keep you both fashionable and comfortable. And with adidas' range of must-have items, you can effortlessly infuse sporty-chic style into your fall looks. Embrace the season in style and make a statement with your fall wardrobe.

Five Pieces You Need For Fall

Hello It's September which means FALL is near. Autumn is my favorite style season and I can't wait for layers, boots and Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Here are my top five pieces you need to have in your wardrobe this season.

"Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live." —Gianni Versace

Velvet: in all its forms is definitely one of the biggest trends of the season. The best part? It doesn't matter how or where you wear it—as long as you do. From velvet platform shoes to ankle boots, blazers, dresses and pants, there's really no wrong way to rock it.

Mules: It may seem a little weird at first, mules are basically an elevated version of a bedroom slipper. THESE ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES. When you see me out 100% I will be rocking a pair. You can wear then with cropped black slacks for the office, or with straight leg jeans on the weekend.

Denim: Universal Piece

Turtlenecks are cozy and cool and when it comes time to upgrade and update your knitwear wardrobe—this should be your go-to.

Metallic accessories and shoes have pretty much always been in style. Gold and silver jewelry? Of course. A pair of silver-tone pumps? Yes. But what about a gold bomber jacket, or a pleated skirt in a metallic faux leather?

Fall Must Haves from Lafayette 148 New York

On Saturday August 24th I had the pleasure of attending Lafayette 148 New York Fall Presentation at Saks Fifth Avenue hosted by Fashion Expert Brooke Jaffe. The inspiration is based off the beautiful architecture of the City of New York --  a strong foundation, a focus on proportion, scale and construction. This fall you can look forward to a very modern feel with animal prints, layers and structured pieces. Here are a few of my favorites looks I can't wait to recreate some of these.

Madewell x Fall 2019

It's August and eventually we'll have to say goodbye to summer. Even though I severely dislike the shorter, darker days. But despite the twinge of disappointment that September's arrival inevitably brings, there are a couple of  things that I love about Fall --- Pumpkin Spiced Latte's and Fashion. So let's get into this Madewell's fall collection.

Inspired by the likes of '60s and '70s icons Ali McGraw, Jane Birkin and Annie Hall (a.k.a. Diane Keaton), the upcoming season's collection combines patterns and colors from the American Southwest with androgynous prep school styling and strategic layering for a fun and imaginative array of pieces destined to become cold-weather wardrobe staples.
The brand's Head of Design Joyce Lee's inspiration for the collection isn't exactly subtle. Straight out of Birkin's playbook, there are ultra-high rise, wide-leg cords, striped t-shirts and effortless floral sundresses. Ali McGraw's beloved sense of style comes forth in the form of mix-matching patterns and plaid blazers plucked straight out of Yale's back-to-school catalogue. As for Annie Hall, there's no shortage of stolen-from-your-boyfriend-dad oversized trousers, crisp button-downs and classic oxfords scattered in the mix.

As for accessories, you can expect to see everything from leather clogs and leopard print slides to striped socks and outfit-elevating hats. Basically, that long list of fall fashion must-haves that you've been adding to all summer can be marked off in one fell swoop thanks to Madewell's new collection.

A Really Good Strut Marked Arrival of Fall Fashions at Westside Provisions

Westside Provisions, the premier dining and shopping destination in Atlanta’s burgeoning Westside neighborhood, ushered in fall with nearly 200 guests at its annual runway show, A Really Good Strut, on Friday, October 9. The property was abuzz as models from Westside retailers showcased the season’s latest fashions across the District’s iconic bridge.

Star 94 radio personality Heather Branch emceed the show while DJ Armor curated an energetic playlist for the night, as the models strutted their seasonal silhouettes. Natural looks from Anthropologie, Calypso St. Barth and Free People graced the runway, while classic, sophisticated cuts and fashions from G. Gilbert, KANE Boutique and The Bilt-House highlighted fall textures and rich seasonal colors, some of the season’s hottest trends. Pure Barre’s looks flaunted the versatility of the fitness studio’s clothing line, while Dragonfly Salon’s elaborate, goddess-inspired up-dos were simply show-stopping.

Guests of A Really Good Strut enjoyed light bites courtesy of Westside Provisions’ restaurants including Ormsby’s, Star Provisions, West Egg CafĂ©, JCT. Kitchen and Little Trouble. Georgia Crown served a selection of beer, wine and the evening’s signature fall cocktail, a blend of pumpkin vodka and apple cider. Guests also had the opportunity to purchase tickets for raffle items provided by participating retailers, including a designer clutch from KANE Boutique, a $500 gift certificate to The Shade Store and a perfume and candle set from Calypso St. Barth.

Proceeds from the fashion show benefited Friends of Atlanta Waterworks, a Park Pride “Friends of the Park” group working to reopen local greenspace on Atlanta’s Westside and one that Westside Provisions’ owners and developers Jamestown and Tucker Mott Companies have actively supported since 2014, and the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, a group dedicated to giving recycled, gently used furniture to those moving out of homelessness and fleeing domestic violence.

“It was an honor for the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta to partner with Westside Provisions for A Really Good Strut,” says Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta community resource manager Stephanie Thomas. “We are humbled by the support shown to help us further our mission and assist those in need throughout our Atlanta community.”
All of the looks featured at A Really Good Strut are now available at participating Westside Provisions retailers and neighboring boutiques throughout the season. To stay up-to-date on all Westside Provisions happenings, follow along on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or visit www.westsideprovisions.com.

Versace RTW Fall 2015

I'm totally here for Versace RTW for Fall. The show opened with a long, tailored black trench cut out over one leg to reveal a thigh-high, red patent leather boot with an oddball long, pointy toe and small square heel. The trench’s belt was embroidered with the Greek key logo, which also appeared on the turtleneck peeking out from under the coat. The logo escalated throughout the collection: on the hosiery worn under a pin-striped blazer; the graphic knit top worn with cropped bell-bottom pants; the wild rainbow prints on a molded jacket and flared skirt; and the embossed lettering on sweatshirts. It reached a crescendo on the finale of cocktail minis embroidered with sequined mash-ups of Greek keys, @ signs, hashtags and the letters that spell out Versace.

“It’s our new symbol,” said the designer. “It’s the past going to the future for the Internet.”
