Marc by Marc Jacobs Men's RTW Fall 2014


In its first standalone presentation, the men’s Marc by Marc Jacobs line took a dramatic turn away from its romantic vintage-y aesthetic and into the land of action sports, showcasing a collection based on BMX and motocross with strong ninja influences. 


A plaid kimono-inspired jacket was shown with voluminous skater shorts, while strong graphic elements were also evident in silk bombers with allover motocross prints and Japanese tiger claw motifs worked on T-shirts and long-sleeve shirts. Oversize down puffer jackets with a shiny coating added a chic touch.

This new attitude and separate show format made for exciting new territory for the Marc by Marc Jacobs man.

FIRST LOOK: Young Jeezy x Gourmet Footwear's Fall 2013 Croc Pack


Take a sneak peek into Gourmet Footwear's Fall 2013 Croc Pack, which includes the Cinque 2 LXL and 35 Lite MP, both made from imported, Italian crocodile. Founder, of the Los Angeles-based footwear and apparel company, Greg Lucci, and platinum hip-hop recording artist and CEO of CTE World, Jeezy, recently connected for a collaborative meeting and photo shoot to create a lookbook for the Croc Pack, which is Jeezy’s favorite Gourmet product.


When shooting this lookbook, both the location and ideology were important. The partnership and relationship between the Gourmet and Jeezy brands has evolved into an organic friendship. When discussing projects or ideas, nothing is forced and that is the feeling that Gourmet wanted to convey through this lookbook and photo shoot – which was shot on location, in real time during a dinner.
 
Greg Lucci, founder of Gourmet, added, “When we come to Atlanta to collaborate with Jeezy the first thing we do is call GIO and have the private table in the back of his restaurant set up. It’s during these dinners that we tend come up with our best creative ideas. We're not focused 100 on business. We're rapping about family and the neighborhoods where we grew up. It's those discussions that inspire us and allow us to visualize where we want to take our collaborative efforts.”

Belk Launches Cam Newton Apparel Collection


Charlotte-based Belk, Inc., the nation’s largest family owned and operated department store, is proud to announce that the exclusive menswear collection from NFL quarterback Cam Newton is now available in 133 Belk stores and on belk.com. This exclusive collection, MADE Cam Newton, offers fashion-forward, versatile, professional and sportswear apparel options for men.

Both men’s sportswear and suiting are part of the collection. Complete suits are $500, while suit separates range from $80-$240 and ties are $50. The sportswear collection will offer tees between $28-32, polos between $40-45, and long sleeve woven shirts between $60-65. Shorts begin at $50 and pants are $60. Jackets are also available for $120.
